I received a B.S. in Mathematics in China, a M.S. in Statistics and a Ph.D. degree in Cognitive Science from UC San Diego. After exploring a range of interesting topics (perceptual decision-making, eye-hand coordination, oculomotor control, etc), my PhD thesis was focused on developing computational models to study depressive behavior: Computational Modeling of Depressive Disorder: an Optimal Control Approach.
